Drafting your team

Five coins and one captain

Your team has 5 starting coins, chosen from the league's coin pool. You can use each coin once per team.

You choose one of your 5 coins as captain. The captain's price change counts double — for gains and for losses. A strong captain can carry a team; a weak one can sink it just as fast.

Any 5 coins from the league's pool make a valid team. There is no credit cost and no budget cap to manage.

Changing your captain

You can give the captain role to another one of your 5 starters at any time before the league ends. Every player can do this. It needs no substitutes and no PRO badge. Open your team in the league and use Edit team.

The double counts per slot, not per coin. Points your old captain already scored stay doubled. Points your new captain already scored as a starter stay single. Only price movement after the change counts under the new captain. Before the league starts, a change only updates your lineup: scoring begins at kickoff with the team you have then.

Substitutes

Some leagues let you carry substitutes: coins on the bench that you can swap in during the league. Where substitutes are available, you get exactly 3, and you can swap at any time before the league ends — not only at the start of a round.

A coin you bring in scores only from the moment you swap it in. The coin it replaces keeps whatever it already scored. You make a substitution from the same Edit team screen as a captain change.

Substitutes are available in private leagues if the league's creator turns them on for everyone, and to PRO players in public leagues. See Fees for what PRO unlocks.
