Scoring

Two things decide your final rank in a league: how your team performs, and how you do in your head-to-head matches.

Team performance

Each of your 5 slots scores the price change of the coin in it, from the moment that coin took the slot. The captain slot counts double. Your team's performance is the average across the 5 starting slots.

The double belongs to the captain slot, not to the coin. If you change your captain during the league, points already scored keep their weighting. Only price movement after the change counts under the new captain. The same rule applies to a substitute you bring in: it scores from the moment of the swap. A team that never changes scores each coin from the start of the league.

Prices are snapshotted every 10 minutes, so your position on the scoreboard updates throughout the league.

Head-to-head matches

Inside the league, you're paired against one other player every 12 hours. A standard 3-day league runs 6 rounds.

If the league has an odd number of players, one player gets a bye each round. League.fun always gives the bye to the player currently lowest on match points, so a bye never extends an existing lead.

Final standings

At the end of the league, League.fun calculates your League Points:

League Points = match points + (team performance × 100)

Your League Points can go negative if your coins lose more value than your match points add. Players are ranked by League Points, and players with the same score share a rank.
